Sterling Network NYC
Sterling Network NYC (SNNYC) was created in response to the unjust obstacles that have prevented so many New Yorkers from obtaining economic security. The SNNYC began as a project of the Robert Sterling Clark Foundation and has since taken on greater self governance and spun off to a new home at the North Star Fund.
The Network remains a diverse group of leaders from the public, private, and non-profit sectors working together to increase economic mobility across the five boroughs with racial equity as a central guiding value. The collaborative projects the SNNYC takes on span key issue areas including education, employment, housing, immigration, health, justice, transportation, labor and media. Their efforts address the root causes of economic inequity - all of which operate across silos - and build towards systems-level impact.

Now What?
The SNNYC continues to develop collaborative projects for addressing the racial wealth gap in NYC from their new home at the North Star Fund.
The Robert Sterling Clark Foundation has and continues to reflect upon and incorporate lessons learned from launching and hosting the SNNYC to better serve in its role as a funder.
